- Advancing Community Sport Coaching

The path to lifelong physical activity participation and sport starts from experiences in early childhood. It is well established in research that safe and positive sporting experiences shapes the lifestyles and behaviours well into adulthood. The role of parents, teachers and coaches are therefore key to these early positive experiences. What knowledge and skills should parents and pre-school teachers acquire? How should PE teachers and coaches best approach coaching kids in sports? How can we all get better at when engaging this young minds to positively shape them? How can we advance community sport coaching? In this interactive session, experts share their success stories and views on these and more.
