About
Global Coach Conference (GCC)
Every two years, the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) brings together coaches, coach developers, researchers, sport scientists, technical directors and sport administrators to address issues in coaching, to learn about new coaching research, and to share experiences with the top coaching development experts in the world.
The 14th GCC will be in Singapore from 29th November to 3rd December, 2023 with the theme; "Coaching for a Better Tomorrow”.
The main focus will continue to be on effective coaching practice, coach learning and development, coaching policy and systems, and inclusivity but with a view of preparing coaches better for a future that is volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous, and technologically advanced.

ICCE Coach Developer Programme
In partnership with ICCE, CoachSG will be running the ICCE Facilitation, Supporting Coaches in Practice Course and Coach Developer Trainer Course concurrently from 5th - 7th December 2023. These 3 courses are open to both local and international participants.
The ICCE Facilitation Course introduces a range of skills such as facilitation, observation and review to facilitate coaches’ learnings in formal and informal settings.
The ICCE Supporting Coaches in Practice Course provides different tools to support coaching in formal and informal situations (e.g. in the field).
The ICCE Coach Developer Trainer course aims to equip experienced Coach Developers to be able to run programmes to educate and support Coach Developers in their work in sport.

Para-Disability Coaching Workshop
This workshop aims to provide coaches, of para-athletes and athletes with different disabilities, with the understanding of contemporary coaching theories and practices, which will enable coaches to coach innovatively and effectively.
