Additional Post-Conference Workshops

ICCE Coach Developer Programmes
In partnership with ICCE, CoachSG will be running a series of ICCE Coach Developer Programmes concurrently from 5th - 7th December 2023. These 3 courses are open to both local* and international participants. *Local participant application will have to be endorsed by their respective National Sport Association.
1. Enhancing Your Facilitation Skills
This programme will help Coach Developers acquire the facilitation skills and strategies to accelerate coaches’ learning, focusing on learner-centred teaching methods that create a thirst for knowledge and self-aware, independent coach learners.
2. Providing Coach Support
This complements the ‘Enhancing your Facilitation Skills’ and will help Coach Developers acquire the skill, tools and strategies to support the application of learning following formal workshops, observe and review coaches’ performance in the field, assess coaches and give feedback, and provide individual mentoring support.
3. Workshop for Leaders of Coach Education Systems and Trainers of Coach Developers
This programme aims to equip experienced Coach Developers to be able to run programmes to educate and support Coach Developers in their work in sport.
If you are committed to providing quality coaching at every level of participation and performance, you need exceptional leaders, a comprehensive coaching system, an excellent Coach Developer workforce and Trainers of Coach Developers as they are key to a quality coaching system.
For the above workshops, do note that only limited slots are available. The team will determine the workshop that is most suitable based on your background. Submit your application below.
The workshop will be at Singapore Sports Hub from 5th to 7th Dec; with a workshop fee of SGD150 (payment to be collected at a later date)
Note that you are required to attend a briefing on 29th November 2023, 5pm – 7pm at Marina Bay Sands if you are selected for one of these workshops. You are also encouraged to attend the Coach Developer session during the conference.
Para-Disability Coaching Workshop
High-performance Paralympic sport contexts provide rich and valuable contexts for innovation by challenging our approaches to learning and problem solving. In this workshop, Ross Pinder and Alex Jago will curate an environment for attendees to connect and collaborate with other coaches to share insights, experiences and global perspectives on challenges in Para sport contexts.
